Wow!!! Time only keeps getting faster!! CRAZY!!!!! Anyway this week was super insanely fun!!

Monday we had an epic ping pong tournament, and later at family home evening taught an awesome lesson to one of our investigators!!!

Tuesday we went on a companion exchange and I was with Elder Golden and we met an awesome student who was super interested in meeting with us!!! Later that night I called Kim Chang Ho and told him that I was super hungry and did know how to make food... (I would never do this to anyone else besides Kim Chang Ho) and he laughed super hard and then told me to hurry and come to his restaurant. We then proceeded to eat a mountain of food..... and he made us eat it all!!

Wednesday was kind of interesting because the night before I got barely any sleep and when the time came to tie my tie in the morning i actually forgot how to tie a tie......... something that I have done for months every day multiple times a day, and I forgot........ super scary, but I remembered the next day after a good night's rest!! After exchanges Elder Cronin and I went out looking for less-actives and ended up in a crazy countryside farm area!! It reminded me of home a little bit, until you see the massive apartments and buildings right in the background!!

Thursday was super fun, while we were looking for less-actives we found some kids playing basketball and played a few rounds with them in our church clothes, and now they want to meet us again!! Then a little late, Kim Chang Ho called us and asked "What is Elder Davis going to eat tonight?" and we told him we didn’t know, so he had us come over and eat a ton of food again.

Friday was a great zone meeting and afterwards we met up with kim Chang Ho again and went to President Seo's house (Branch President) and delivered him some spam for his birthday!! And then taught him an awesome lesson!!

Saturday was a crazy day we got two new investigators and one of them likes us to come to his house and sing hymns with him.... it is super fun, but we are terrible at singing. He always would yell out Hallelujah randomly too, super funny and interesting guy!! Also that day, I barely lost a ping pong match to our branch president’s wife Kim Young Ay, (Lost by 2 points....) and now I owe here ice cream.

Sunday we went to a members house to make dumplings with him, and we ate tons and tons of food, and then I ended up teaching Kim Young Ay the whip and nae nae dance.... haha

Bangeojin is super awesome!!! The members here are the greatest!!!! Missionary work is super legit!!!! Love you all!!!

Hello people of North America!!!! This week nothing too crazy went down!! (My companion actually killed a mouse yesterday, but we will get that later!!!)

Last monday for FHE I got to cook Korean food! We made some super good Korean curry and then ate it, so it was super duper fun and delicious!!

Tuesday was fun, because we got to go and meet with President Barrow in Busan, he and I just talked about cold and warm weather for a little bit haha, he is super awesome!!!!! He is so easy to talk to, and he really does have our best interests in mind.

Wednesday was a day off trying to find less actives, and it’s super hard because the addresses are old, and so sometimes we can’t find their house, and sometimes there houses are not existing..... haha it is super hard, but luckily we found a few guys who would like to meet again! At one point we found a house, and then realized it  had been bombed back in the Korean war, because it was super wrecked... haha Korea is crazy because the have super high tech and massive apartments, yet you can find super wrecked house in the middle of the city!!!! haha

Thursday was good, we did our service project (teaching english to grandmas) And they were super nice to us and gave us some hot chocolate!!!

Friday was a good district meeting, and nothing really happened the rest of the day except for the fact that it got super cold that night!!!! My whole face was numb!!!

Saturday was an awesome day, because we now have a family that wants us to teach them later this week!!!

And then Sunday we had a new family from Texas move into the ward named the Fowlers! They are here until July, and he is commissioning a huge project that hyundai is doing!! Also we had an awesome choir practice with the whole district since we have the big whole Ulsan district meeting in February, and apparently I am going to have to play flute again for that........... then that night while we were street contacting and a mouse was running on the sidewalk and while we were talking to some people my companion accidentally stepped on it and killed it!  That’s about it form this week!!!! Have a great week everyone!!!! Love ya!!!

This week has been insane! It started off super crazy. After emailing last week we played some ping pong with Kim Chang Ho, and then he decided to take us to Costco which made for some crazy shopping.

The next day was full of us going all over Bangeojin trying to find some less actives, it took super long and sadly no one ever answered and sometimes the building weren't even in the spot we thought, but while going there we talked to lots of great people!

On Wednesday I had the chance to go on exchange with our zone leader Elder Kim (He is a super funny Korean, also he is super ripped) And while we were out proselyting he had a feeling to take me to some place pretty far to do some more proselyting and while we were doing that, we ran into a less active form Bangeojin (The branch president’s son). Since he knew me, he stopped us and we were able to have a good conversation with him and he even started proselyting with us!!! Super awesome experience of how the spirit guides missionary work!!! He wants to meet with us again sometime soon!!!

Thursday was a pretty normal day, except we had to deep clean the house.

Friday was pretty awesome, we have been starting to meet some pretty promising people on the streets lately, and also got a new investigator that night and ate tons of food for free at a member’s restaurant. We tried super hard to pay because he isn't a very wealthy guy, but he refused because he told us we are poor too. He is a great example of Christlike attitudes!!!!

Saturday was a crazy day. We played dodgeball with some of the kids who come to our young children english class (They are some awesome primary members) and their parents fed us super good food!!! I have been fed every Saturday since I have been here by one of the kids moms, she is super super nice. After that we had english class for older people and I ended up doing a lesson with another new investigator. It was just me and a member (Brother Koo Jah Geer(He feeds us lots)) and sister Kim who taught him. He had been going through a really tough time and we gave him a book of mormon and asked him to read it!! Hopefully he decides to progress!!! After that Kim Chang Ho decided to do a bet with Brother Koo during a doubles ping pong match (I was on Brother Koo's Team and Elder Cronin was on Kim Chang Ho's team) And I found out that Brother Koo is the KING of ping pong. He is super super super super good, definitely the best ping pong player I have ever seen!!! So we won, and Kim Chang Ho had to feed us!!! We ate super well that night!! That night was also transfer call night and it was super insane because me and Elder Cronin stay ANOTHER TRANSFER!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? This has like never ever happened in the mission!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we get to stay another transfer in Bangeojin!!!!!

Sunday was really good too!!! We found a guy who really wants to meet us again!! So we will see how it goes!!! Bangeojin is about to become an even more legendary place after this transfer!! I am super grateful to be able to stay here for longer!!! Love everyone!!! Best Wishes!!

안냥하십니까 여러분!!
Hope everyone had a great week! Mine started off pretty crazy. At the end of last Pday, while we were doing FHE, the boiler in the church almost blew up! We were watching a book of mormon video, and a crazy guy who randomly comes into the church all the time, came upstairs and yelled for me and Elder Cronin to go downstairs; when we got there, there was a thick cloud of mist (looked almost like smoke) and we could barely breath, we found out it was coming from the bathroom because a pipe had exploded and was shooting steam out, so it made a thick cloud of steam that we had to walk through. When we went to turn off the boiler it was making a really loud, unhealthy noise.... super sketchy!!! But afterwords?( no clue if that is how to say that) we had an awesome time with some members finishing the video.

Tuesday wasn’t very eventful, but that night we went out and did 같이 전도, (English it means together proselyte) So us and the sisters got a big board and some stickers and went out on a freezing night and talked to some peeps!!! It was pretty fun and we got two potential investigators from it!!! After that we went to get pizza and got wrecked from eating too much..... once again......

On wednesday, while we were going to our district meeting one city over, we got in a bus accident. It wasn’t bad just a car hit the back of the bus where we were sitting, the car got wrecked pretty bad, but the bus didn’t really have a scratch. Buses are insane here in Korea, but I really will miss them in the future!!! We also met one of our investigators (Super old guy) at his workplace, and tried to give him his umbrellas back, and he refused to take them. He then proceeded to give elder Cronin some shoes. While he and Elder Cronin were talking some of his friends were trying to get me to drink some alcohol..... I refused of course, and they just kept telling me that alcohol is super delicious, then one of the guys friends yelled at the guy offering me alchohol saying that missionaries don’t drink stuff like that. The guy said oh, then asked me if Elder Cronin wanted some, hah silly Koreans.

Thursday we had an awesome english class, where one of our investigators decided i am his son now, and he wants to take me and Elder Cronin on a Korean cuisine food tour. His english name is Bradley, and he is a super fun guy!

Friday we had a member present lesson with Kim Chang Ho, that went really interesting. Kim Chang Ho tried really hard t get the guy to get baptized, the guy wasn’t ready at that time, but we are very grateful to have Kim Chang Ho! He decided to call president Barrow and is trying to convince him to let me learn Korean from him for 6 hours a week.

Saturday was very fun, we went bowling with one of our potential investigators and found out that I am terrible at bowling, I threw gutter balls every time! And the young women in the branch are convinced that I am some super good dancer now because I danced a tiny bit during the bowling.  That’s about it that happened that night.

Sunday was awesome because in Korea they do this thing where they see the first sunrise of the new year and we got invited by a member to go to a super cool place and watch the sunrise! Then later that night we ate dinner with the Elders Quorum President, Koo Jah Geers house, who has fed me thousands of times. And we had an awesome time with our recent convert and all the elders!!!

The work is really progressing and we have like 50 potential investigators who are right on the verge of becoming real ones!!! Hope everyone has a good week!!새해 복 많이 받으십시오!!!!!!! (Happy new year)

Eating too much Pizza! Again! (You'd think he'd learn)

Watching the first sunrise of 2017!

Nice shoes!

Not sure, but I don't thinks that's how you do it!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!! The first Christmas in my mission has already passed!?!?!? What???? Crazy!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!! I had a blast here! This week was a super good. One of the best things happened yesterday. We went out to go proselyte on Christmas day, and Elder Cronin’s mom had sent him a ton of CTR rings in Korean, so we went up to a bunch of random people and handed them CTR rings and said merry Christmas. So now there might be a bunch of guys walking around with CTR rings on their fingers. We also handed out around maybe 50 Books of Mormon to Koreans yesterday as well! Hopefully we get to change some lives because of that! We also had a Christmas party on Saturday with the Branch which was super duper fun. I had to play Flute in front of everyone with our ward missionary and we showed a super funny video, that we created with the help of Seo Jung (Ward missionary) that actually ended up really well. I had some great conversations with Investigators and less actives during the party that went super well. Before the party we had lots of preparing and tons of proselyting time to bring people in.

We also got to meet Kim Chang Ho a couple times this week and the lessons went super well, as well as Elder Cronin beat him in a ping pong match!  He now owes us 2 30 dollar little robots! He also told me that I was going to become a gangster with him in Korea and that we would make lots and lots of money... The guy is one of a kind... hahaha.

That was really the highlights of the week!!! I had to give a talk on Sunday that went well I suppose.! The members in Bangeojin are super awesome still!!!!

Love everyone!!!!! Have a good week!!!
