This week was so crazy! I went to Busan and back like 3 times so my wallet took a huge hit..... :( It's 15$ to go there and back, so kind of sucks. I had lots of meetings there and it was really great! I have been learning so much lately about how to better do missionary work, and I am excited to be putting it into work!

But anyways besides spending 20 hours on the bus, this week was awesome!!! I received my son, Elder Aubrey on Wednesday!! He is from  South Jordan, Utah and is a great missionary!! He is already super good at his Korean as well!! I am super excited to be serving with him this transfer!!! Being a trainer is pretty interesting, because it’s basically do what you want time, and it’s really nice because since he doesn't know the culture too much I can teach him it!! It was great making my comp eat some crazy food in the first week. We had so many appointments with members and others so we ate some crazy stuff!! The first meal he are with a member is called 삼계탕 which is a whole chicken boiled in some soup I will send a pic soon haha he also ate some other crazy good stuff! I wish I had eaten as good as him in my first week!

So this week we had an awesome miracle! Yesterday while we were waiting at church (We have to show up an hour early) A sister member called us because she needed help carrying some stuff for the lunch that day, when we went down to help, she had come with her nonmember father, who is super stout presbyterian believer!! He had called her that morning and wanted to come to the church with her! We had met him before last transfer and helped him do some moving into his new house and have eaten with him before and he showed no interest, but now he wants to learn about the church!! It is awesome!!! Member missionary work is the best! When they came, one thing that came to my mind was the section in Preach My Gospel that says "No Effort is Wasted" I know for a fact that as long as we try new things and work hard, and always have faith to find people, we will find God's elect children!!

I have an interesting story to wrap up the email hahaha, so while we were waiting for a city bus to come email this morning, a  lady approached us to strike up a conversation, it was kinda sad that I knew as soon as I saw her that she was a Jehovah’s Witness, but we have to be kind so I let her talk to us. I've met so many Jehovah’s Witnesses before though, so when she starting trying to tell us stuff I told her that I knew her doctrine really well... hahah She was nice of course (They almost all are) And we had a short discussion about our beliefs, when our bus came we ended up getting on the same bus, and when she was about to get off, the bus driver was of course crazy and she got launched into my seat...... So the Jehovah’s Witnesses now seem to realize that I am not going to listen, so they have decided to get physical with me... haahahahah.... When I talk with other missionaries I found out that for some reason I meet the most Jws out of pretty much everyone in my District and most the mission..... I don't know why.... I hate bible bashing so much now :( hahahaha luckily they are quite nice in Korea so it's not as bad as running into the missionaries for the churches that kidnap and brainwash people (ALthough I have run into them before) Churches in Korea are super crazy..... I love Korea so much though, missionary life wouldn't be the same without meeting all the crazy people!!! hahah

Well this week was a crazy one. So, last p-day we went on a hike that was absolutely infested with spiders. We were literally cutting spider webs down with our umbrellas like we were on some jungle safari, hahah it was crazy!

I had a three day vacation from Sacheon because of all the meetings that we had!!! Went on exchanges on Tuesday in Jinju with Elder Staker, then went to Busan and slept the night with our APs and office elders, it was a crazy time. Thursday we had a great mission tour with ELder Yamashita!!

I don’t have tons of time, so this email will be shorter than most, but the big news of the week is that I am a new trainer and the district leader in the Jinju district (Now Sacheon i guess). It’s going to be crazy, and absolutely destroy my wallet from exchanges and things, but I am excited to get to work!!!!

We had a crazy experience, so on exchanges always a lot of crazy miracles happen, this last week was no different!! Me and Elder Staker were proselyting when we started talking to a 23 year old kid, he randomly took us out and bought us some drinks in a cafe and we talked and taught a little bit of the 1st lesson right there. He might actually be a kpop star, but sadly he is going to Australia in  a few days, so we can't teach him more. But towards the end of meeting, he randomly told me that he would give me all his clothes he won't use. So soon Iam receiving some super super expensive clothing from this kid. His english name is Henderson, and he was pretty ok at english! I received his email as well so luckily we will be able to refer him!! He actually had tons of interest in the message, so he will be able to learn in Australia!!

That’s about all for this week!!! I will meet my new companion this Wednesday, so I will tell you guys next week about him!! Have a great week!!!
(Also let's take some time to appreciate how cute my little sister is) 가정은 세상의 천국입니다 <3

This week was yet again another great week!!! It was pretty slow, and just kind of a normal week in the beginning except for the fact that I got a haircut, and I was trying to try out something new, but got confused in the explaining process and wrecked my hair! I will send some pictures. So I ended up getting two haircuts this week!!!! It was pretty fun... hahahah

Later in the week we went hitchhiking and met a really nice guy, got his number, and he owns a crazy nice restaurant out in the middle of NOWHERE!!!!!! Literally, the middle of nowhere, only one bus went there and we still had to walk a little bit.... So he invited us to his restaurant later in the week and we went there and ate about 200 dollars worth of the most expensive meat in Korea... And the best part, we didn't pay a penny hahaha such a nice guy!! He just fed us and kicked us out pretty much, he said he would invite us again, but God gave us a huge blessing with that one, because we always have no money because of taking buses and stuff so we eat pretty bad (Ramen and things like that) (But ramen in Korea is a lot better than america) And then we finally got to get a really nice meal, so it was real nice.

Other than that, this week we found a new investigator!!!! Finally..... Only took us about 3 weeks to find a reliable one...  hahahahah He is super good at english and his name is Ronald Hahn, Really nice guy and he is pretty interested in the Gospel since he has a friend who is a member up in Seoul, we will meet him every week at Tuesday!! SO Please pray for him!!

Other than that, that's about all that happened worth mentioning! Lots of walking the streets, talking to punk people, getting some rude words thrown at us, but that's just usual in this area... hahahaha, pretty tough place, but luckily the missionaries who serve here are tougher!! We are going into the last week of this transfer and I should be staying, so this week we are looking forward to the miracles we will see!!! Love korea and even though it's a hard area I’m loving every second serving here and learning so much!!! Love you all!!!

Haircut #1, not quite up to missionary standards

Much better!

So this week went by so fast, wow! It was a super awesome week though, some fun stuff, and crazy stuff happened!! So, to start it off we had some interviews with President and he was so funny, his wife is super hilarious too. I love them tons!!! Also my old Mission president, President Barrow, is apparently out saving lives in Texas in his wind boat thing! I suggest you look it up if you wanna hear a cool story!!!

So, lately with the new president coming in, we received some new teaching certifications! So I have been working hard and one of my goals with the new teaching is to use the bible a lot more!! So this week I studied teaching the lessons using the Bible and the Book of Mormon together, and I have learned that they support each other so well!!! My head kinda hurts lately though because I have been memorizing scriptures in Korean. I am at 5 now and hope to get 10 this week then 5 every week till the end of my mission!!! I have noticed though, that memorizing has gotten 100 times better since the beginning of my mission!!! So, that is some good news hahah.

This week we met some super cool people! We got a referral from Daejon mission from a guy who was supposed to get baptized awhile back, but kinda got opposed by his wife and mom so he didn’t receive, but I called him on Saturday and we will be meeting up with him this week and hopefully help him progress again!! It has been over a year since he met the missionaries so we will seed how it goes and I will update you next week!!!

This week when we were hitch hiking we met a crazy cool guy, so he is super high up in this big company called LIG here in korea, and he is really high up in the missile making department of it and we had an awesome conversation with him, he tried learning about catholicism earlier in life, but just lost the drive to learn, sadly he lives in Gumi which is in Daegu, but we will be referring him to those missionaries!! Later that same night while we were playing some ball, 3 middle aged men came and played with us, and they were awesome, all are from Seoul and are here for 4 years working on a thermal power plant!! We will be trying to set up some appointments with them soon!! Sadly Moon SeonHyok left to Daejon :( But we are going to be meeting his little brother, and we feel like he will be as great investigator!! I love missionary work so much!!! Love all you too! Hope you have a great week!!!
