So this week was super awesome!!! Last week we had a member start this new english program for us, its english for their equivalent of the ACT or SAT. We spent a ton of time looking for and finding people who would be interested in coming to the new class. We found a lot of people and the members are working super hard and we know that there are going to be a ton of baptisms that come from this program!! In the Japan mission they did something sort of similar to this and had something like 27 baptisms in one area in over a few transfers, so we will see a lot of miracles over the next few weeks!
The Haeundae area is starting to really light up. We have been finding tons more people and our investigators are getting real close to baptism! Sadly one of our most promising investigators who said he was coming to church yesterday decided to randomly go to Jeju island on vacation... hahahaha what the heck man!?!?!?!? We will start meeting up again later this week when he gets home though. He should have a baptism quite soon, and he is going to start bringing his little sister to the lessons later this week!! Super awesome!! We have a few people who we haven't even met yet whose parents are saying that they should meet with us, and another kid who wants to come to our church, so we will be having some amazing next few weeks with so many miracles and great things happening!!
I am grateful to be able to serve in this area at this awesome time. Yesterday we had a meeting with the 1st and 2nd counselors in our bishopric and it was a super spiritual meeting!! The 1st and 2nd counselors served in the same mission and were companions then too. One shared a lot of spiritual experiences and then told us that we were going to be the missionaries to change this mission. He said that if we work hard we will be the ones to revolutionize the Korea Busan mission!! Super awesome, and let me tell ya, I've never worked harder in my life than I am right now. And the rewards may not be seen instantly, they may come when I'm off my mission but I know they will be there. It is a great feeling to get home at 9 o'clock at night and feel like dying because we are so tired. It’s great to look in the mirror and tell myself that I’m doing all I can. I have never been more tired in my life than i am now and I love it!!!! Missionary work changes you a lot, I can honestly say I’m no longer a boy (Not just because I clean without anyone telling me too, or because i cook my own food ;)) I am having the greatest time of my life out here in the beautiful land of Korea :) I love the culture, the language, but most of all, I love the Korean people so much. It is the best place and best people in the world!!! I can now speak Korean, carry on conversations about random stuff, teach the gospel to people on the street, and order chicken over the phone. And I can only do that stuff because God has gifted me with the gift of tongues, I’d really be terrible at Korean if I was learning it on my own. Everyone come serve a mission in Korea!! Its super fun!! Hahaha Love you all!
