Hello everyone!! This week involved a lot of buses. We had zone conference in Masan, so we had to ride a bus 2 hours there and we woke up that morning at 4:30, so fun... hahaha. But we had an awesome zone conference and learned lots!! Me and Elder Schimbeck had to give a talk in the meeting about alternative ways to proselyte because we have tried some other ways (like basketball) and have seen some success out of them!!! President Jeong talked to us about goal setting, and he is so funny, I love koreans so much and our president is one of the best. So we learned a lot on how to better serve our companions and the members!! So hopefully we can do better at serving the members.
This week our sorta new investigator Kim GunSheek came to church!! He is a really interesting guy, and he kinda scares me and Elder Schimbeck a lot, but we still love him!! He loved church and will attend stake conference next week!!! We will meet MoonSeongHyok tonight and sadly its one of the last times we can meet him before he goes back to Cheongju for college ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ (that’s a sad face) So we will have to refer him to some other missionaries!! It will be sad because we love him so much and are so close with him! And he is progressing so well! So he will probably end up getting baptized over there!! I also received news that some people I found in Haeundae got baptized recently!!! Their english names are James and Rachel, and I am so happy they got baptized!!! :) That's about all this week!! It's been a great time in Sacheon so far!! Love you all!!

This week was so fun!! It started off with us going to an appointment with a new investigator Son Wonsup, he’s a grandpa who is super good at violin and guitar and singing! It was in the super countryside, there was literally NO ONE out there and we went to his house that was super hard to find, but some grandmas helped us find the bus and some random guy gave us a ride! So we met him and had a good meeting, and we had another appointment after but we had no idea how to get there and it was far away.... so we just started walking.. We walked a few kilometers, and another few, until randomly an english class member randomly showed up and picked us up. She normally doesn’t go out there but she just wanted to go on a drive with her husband and found us and took us to the place where we normally hitchhike!! It was awesome! A great experience showing that God takes care of his missionaries!!
Yesterday we ate dinner again with Moon Seonghyok and his family and it was awesome! Sadly this week he will not be in our area for a little bit so we can’t meet him, but we have gotten close with his younger brother Moon Janghyok and we are hoping to get him out to church this week!!! Their family is so awesome and super funny~~!!!
Something i have been learning lately is that the key to missionary work (I think) is love!! Through loving all the people we talk to they are more willing to listen because they know that we love them, so they trust us more and believe that what we say will really help them. I am trying to gain a more Christlike love for my investigators, and I truly do love them and the people I talk to on the streets! The work is about to blow up here, I can feel it! We will be busy these next few weeks!!!! Love you All, this week no pictures though,... sorry! Next week I will send them!!

This week was really great!! We started it off like usual, all day street proselyting and those types of things, meeting people, having the student swear at us in texts... hahahahah. The students here in Sacheon can get really rude sometimes, but it’s all worth it when we find the nice ones who want to learn with us and come out to church!!!
Tuesday we had an appointment with our chinese investigator, Jerry, but sadly he got super busy so we couldn’t meet him then. Our awesome investigator Moon SeongHiok (the one who cooked us steak) was in Daejeon all this week so we couldn’t meet him, but we are already planning to meet him again really soon. So our meeting on Tuesday with Jerry fell through, but luckily on Saturday we got an appointment with him, and we taught more of the Plan of Salvation to him and he was really funny when he said this "In china, there are no religion, but I think this should be the religion in China". He is progressing so well, and I am hoping that he can get a baptismal date soon!! We plan to get him one soon!!!
We met with our family referral this week again and things are going along real great with them as well!! They are so kind and nice. We hope that they will make it out to church sometime soon.
This week we went to a really far to reach area called Hadong, it’s a small city, and super far away, it borders the daejeon mission, and it was a crazy place. The people kept asking where our church was and we found a less active from forever ago! The only problem is that the area is so far aways that people can’t really come to church, so I’m talking to president about opening it as a new area!!! It would be awesome!!!
The scary thing now though, is the fact that i hit my year mark in 3 days........ so weird, time flies and I have heard it only gets faster after a year... Which is something I don’t want.
I recently received an email from my trainer Elder Cronin who is now home, so I’m now and orphaned missionary. I love missionary work so much!!! It is so fun, hard, and amazing! Love my mission, the missionaries, the mission president, and especially the people!!!
Love you all!! The picture is with one of our members Lee DaUn super cute guy!!

Wow, this week was super great!! We found so many awesome people! To start things off though, lemme tell you about the weather. I have never walked outside to literally be hit by a wave of warm water, and to feel like I’m in a stinking oven, ugh, it is sooo hot. And there is a typhoon coming soon. Yaaaaayyyy!!!!! Luckily it won’t hit us too bad, so we shall see.
This week we received an awesome referral from a family, the dad went to BYU when he was younger and they want their 5 year old daughter to keep up her English skill so we met them this past week and they are so awesome!!! The mom’s name is Jo Hwana and the dad is Hwangbo Yunsoo. Their little daughter is So Gyong, she is 5 but fluent in english and it’s super weird to hear english from a young kid. Anyway, the Chinese guy we met, Jerry, we met him again and he is really excited to be learning about our church. We had a great first meeting and are teaching him about the plan of salvation and he loves it! We also met a kid we met last week playing basketball, his name is Moon Songhiok, and he was super awesome. We had an appointment with Lee Dongho, but he had to cancel, so we texted to Brother Moon (he’s 22 Korean age) and just said "Hey we are at the basketball courts, come play!" And he answered with, I’m coming right away" and he showed up, and then it started pouring rain, (rained so hard we broke our phone...) And so then we went and ate ice cream with him, and now he’s an awesome investigator, he took us to meet his family last night, and we all had dinner together!!! (I will send a picture of him) So this week we received a ton of blessing! I am grateful that all the hard work over the last transfer is starting to finally pay off!! I think by the end of this transfer we will have a few people receiving baptism, and coming closer to Christ, so that makes me very happy :)
Also this week I saw brother Kim Changho, he came up to Sacheon to meet with me and he bought us so much stuff. White shirts, snacks, steak, lunch, dinner, more snacks. It was crazy, hahah. He also took us on a tour around the island in our area and we went to a place called German village and ate some amazing pizza!! He is still as crazy as ever though.
Love you all!!!!! 안녕!! ㅋㅋ

This week was super awesome!!!! I will start off with the awesome guy that we found! His name is Jerry and he is Chinese and is looking for a religion. It was super awesome, he will be here until October so we have enough time to teach him everything and baptize him! We will meet him again tomorrow and start the lessons but he really likes us and what we are doing. It is kind of hard to meet him because he lives on an island that we only go to once a week, but I suppose we will start hitch hiking out there a lot more to meet him. He is around his 40s and has a family back in mainland China, he was initially interested in learning about Buddha, but when we told him we teach about Jesus and happiness, he thought it would be great to learn about him as well.
Also this week we gave Lee DongHo a Book of Mormon, and we met some of his friends through a basketball appointment, and one of them seems to have a lot of potential. We then met some other awesome kids, 2 brothers who want to learn english and really like us as well so this next week will be busy with appointments!! There are also a few more guys that have a lot of potential, so we will see how it goes!!
This week we also helped our member, Sister Hwang’s, nonmember father move into his new house, and let me tell you, moving Koreans in to a new house is so easy, so so easy. The houses are small so they don't need a ton of stuff. He thought we worked super hard and really likes us now, we are hoping that soon we will be able to start teaching him. I’m loving missionary work.
My Korean friend who is serving her mission in California recently sent me this scripture and it really helped me, so I hope it can help some of you guys!!!
1 Corinthians 3:6-8
6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.
6:The person who planted represents a missionary who teaches and finds people. The person who watered represents a missionary who baptizes people
7:God is the only person who gave the increase. Neither is he that planteth anything neither he that watereth. Neither person who plants nor person who change people's heart and converts them. Only God can convert people through the Holy Ghost. We can help people to learn the Gospel, but conversion of people happens through the power of the Holy Ghost
8:As long as we work in the garden, every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor
Hope that helps!!!
Anyways, I didn't take any pics this week.... woops I'll send lots next week if I have time!! Next week is already transfer week, crazy how fast time flies!!!! Love you all!!!!! 안녕!! ㅋㅋ
