Hello people of the outside world!!!
I hope all of you have had a great week out there!! This week was all pretty much the same as last week, just no apostles... But the speakers were all still great!! This week I had an awesome opportunity of meeting a Korean sister from Busan who is going to California! She has been helping me out with a lot of Korean and taught me a few Korean slang terms, like legit. And I taught her some English slang. Something my awesome teacher, Brother Campbell, taught us is that you can learn the language and see miracles on your mission without any effort, but when you put in that effort, even when it is hard it will work out for the better and you will have much stronger faith. I have seen that happen at the MTC, Talking with Sister Park (the Korean sister from Busan) is really frustrating to me when I can't understand, and she doesn't understand what I say, but God knows that I am trying hard, and he always helps us out, to the point where we can understand bits and pieces from it and have a conversation in actual Korean (sorta)!! It is super hard to learn Korean, but it is so cool to see some of the results of my hard work!! There is honestly not much to write about when you are in the MTC for 5 or so weeks but once I get to Korea my emails maybe will be longer!! Have a wonderful time out there friends and family! Love you all!!!
