So in Gupo we have two awesome recent converts who got baptized in the past transfer. Their names are Finn, and David (English names) Finn is the same age as me and David is around 30 years old. So last week we met with them a couple times and they are super awesome! Finn sadly goes to military next month so I only get to meet with him for a limited time! They are two awesome guys and their faith is really strong! Finn really wants to get his patriarchal blessing before he goes to the military!
So we met with a couple investigators last week and sadly they all are randomly moving so we have to drop them... haha we don't have much investigators so we are hitting the streets a ton lately!! WE are trying to improve our english class lately so the branch bought us 8 thousand fliers and we have been giving tons of them out. we are hoping a lot of people will be able to come!
Last week we did some basketball proselyting and we met a super hilarious guy from Vietnam. He trash talked us soooo much and was super funny. He wasn't super good at basketball, but because he was so funny everyone had a great time! I talked with him a little bit about church and he randomly said "I cant come tomorrow because I have work, but I will come next week" So we have some high hopes for him!! His name is Levan.. haha We are thinking he can get baptized by the end of this transfer!
Also because I am zone leader, me and Elder Smoot made some zone culture and zone goals last week, and the theme for our zone is greenie fire. When a missionary first comes into the mission they are full of fire and want to work super hard so we are trying to get our zone to be filled with greenie fire. It is actually super fun and the zone is loving it!! we have this group message where we send a bunch of quotes and weird pictures of green stuff to everyone everyday.. it is hilarious hahahah.
Other than that stuff last week we met some LA's played soccer, played basketball, hit the streets super hard, and met tons of cool people! One of the guys we met last week actually played basketball for the Korea national team a long time back, and he was an absolute giant... It was super intimidating to approach him on the street, but he was really kind and had a little bit of interest! He actually knew about the church already!!
Anyways love you guys!!!
